Questions about aqua aerobics music
Licensing, tempos, lengths and how it works on the pool deck.
Do I owe ASCAP, BMI or other royalties if I play this in class?
Our tracks are original music and aren't registered with ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR or PPL/PRS. Membership will include a written Music Use License to play them in your classes. Other music you or your pool play still needs its own licenses.
Can I use it with no internet at the pool?
Yes. Download the MP3 at home on Wi-Fi and it plays from your phone, tablet or speaker with no connection.
Which mix fits my class?
For shallow-water cardio, Shallow Water Cardio runs its main set at 130 to 137 BPM. For deep-water running, Deep Water runs 108 to 124 BPM. Disco Hour runs 120 rising to 132 BPM and suits fun, lower-impact cardio. Many aqua instructors move on every other beat.
How long is each mix?
Disco Hour is 61:40, Shallow Water Cardio is 62:27 and Deep Water is 59:04. Each warm-up runs about 12 minutes, and each cool-down about 12 to 14 minutes.
Will there be gaps or sudden stops?
No. Songs are joined with beat-matched 2 to 3 second crossfades, and Suno's built-in stops and fake endings were replaced with bars from the same song.
How much does it cost?
The Instructor plan is $15/mo. Facility coverage is $49/mo by request. Subscribe online for the Instructor plan.
Do I need to know anything about computers or crypto?
No. You'll sign in with your email.
